My play is on the Bengals.
The Raiders have had an incredible season, 10-7 with four OT wins. The ups and downs, opening undefeated, the Jon Gruden debacle, the Ruggs drinking and driving manslaughter emabarrassment, then losing seven of the next ten games followed by four straight solid wins to close the season and secure the last playoff spot. Interim coach Rich Bisaccia became the first ever coach to take over at mid season and make the playoffs and managed to weather the storm while guiding his squad into the playoffs, however I see this game will be where this nice story has closure.
While the Raiders have been fueled by emotional play the season, the Bengals have been driven prolifically through the trio of Joe Burrow, favorite targert and college buddy Ja'marr Chase, and bellcow Joe Mixon. Through in Tyler Boyd in the mix and they are the first four players to combine a 4500 yard passer, a 1000 yard back, and two 1000 yard wideouts.
The Bengals have outscored the Raiders over 5 points per game and they have allowed four points fewer per game, and seven of their ten wins were two touchdowns or more, as well as one OT win, another three point win and one five point win. The Bengals also lost two heartbreaking OT games to Green Bay and San Fran, and have earned their stripes in games that came down the wire.
Allthough the same record, we are going to side with the Bengals who displayed a more complete dominant team in their efforts over the Raiders.
Take the Bengals with the points.
