The Arizona Coyotes are lucky to be where they are right now at 10-9-3. They have enjoyed some fantastic goaltending this year and really have not been able to establish themselves as a playoff contender. The Minnesota Wild are the complete opposite. They are a powerhouse in this Western division, and it should show tonight.
-Minnesota coming off consecutive losses where they dominated both games against Vegas but couldn’t convert when it counted. Now, they’re on a short trip to Phoenix for a game against the Coyotes, who are returning home after a big win against LA. For one of the last times all season, these teams face each other for the first time this year, because everyone is only playing divisional opponents this season. In a game where the two teams essentially meet with no game tape or revenge spot to gameplan, I’m going to take the better team
-The Wild are 9-3 in their last 12 against the Coyotes in Phoenix; they’re 5-2 in their last 7 against the Coyotes overall, and they’re 15-7 in their last 22 on the road overall
