|Under 9 (-110) @ williamhill|
This is an 8* TOP SITUATIONAL TOTAL on the UNDER White Sox/Tigers.
The White Sox have scored 20 runs in winning the first two games of this series, while the Tigers have scored six.
The Tigers have now seen the total go OVER in four straight, while Chicago has seen it go OVER in both games to open this series.
Both teams have been playing to plenty of higher-scoring games of late, but everything points to more of a lower-scoring duel in the finale finally in our opinion.
Carlos Rodon is 5-2 with a 1.96 ERA for the ChiSox. He most recently is coming off an unfortunate no-decision to the Blue Jays on Tuesday, allowing one run and striking out eight over five innings. So far Rodon owns a sharp 88:15 K:BB over just 59.2 innings of work.
He's also been unstoppable on the road thus far, going 3-0 with a 1.93 ERA.
The home side goes with Kyle Funkhouser in this one and he's 0-0 with a 2.70 ERA. It's a bullpen day for the Tigers' rotation, but Funkhouser has been sharp in his limited time, posting a 0.95 WHIP over six innings of work.
Finally, note that Detroit has seen the total go UNDER the number in seven of its last ten after playing to three or more straight OVERs in a row.
This number is high, the play is the UNDER.
Good luck, NP
