Coming off of this past weeks comeback win over Carolina, one thing is clear. If teams do not gift the Eagles with numerous turnovers in a game, the sleading is going to be uphill for this under prepared and out coached Eagles team. They have a first time head coach, a first time defensive defensive coach and numerous young first time assistant coaches who are in over their head. The Eagles rely to heavily on throwing the ball with an erratic quarterback who locks in on one reciever and to often misses open recievers because he doesn't go thru his progressions.
Defensively, new coach Jonathan Gannon prefers to employ a 2 high safety scheme which has both safety's 20 yards off of the line of scrimmage to avoid big plays when in fact, it just opens up the middle of the field to exploit Philly's weak collection of linebackers. Teams have also realized that if you double both defensive tackles that you can effectively run against this undermanned group.
Not a big fan of laying 7 on the road but expect Brady and his cast of ultra competetive, deep and talented recievers to exploit the Birds secondary all day. Will the Birds be able to keep up? I don't see it unless Brady hands them the ball more than twice which is doubtful.
