Cobb is not a reliable pitcher. He strikes guys out a lot, but when they don’t, they make hard contact. His problem is that the Astros don’t miss when they swing, as they have the lowest whiff rate in the MLB. He has an ERA over 4.5 on the road the last few years, and he has a career 7.63 ERA against the Astros (8.68 @ HOU).
-Javier goes and has a 4.76 ERA against them in his short career. LAA is hitting righties hard this year as well, so expect them to bump up his unsustainable 1.18 home ERA so far
-The Over is 9-1 L10 between these two, and with LAA’s bullpen having pitched 13 IP L3 games (9 ER), there should be some late scores here.
