My play is on Kansas State.
With the majority of the public behind the LSU underdogs, we will go against the grain and side with the Wildcats.
LSU has become a very popular team with several alumni starring in the NFL, but LSU is a team on the decline with coaching changes and transfer requests from a few starters, has led LSU to teach a new offense to new starters.
K State will look to stifle the LSU ground game (KS ranked 27th in the nation against the run) who already barely ran for over 100 yards per game, raniking 117th in yards gained on the ground.
Wildcats have zero opt outs and many on the team are using it as an audition to a nationwide audience with all purpose back Deuce Vaughn stating he is excited to play in the last bowl game of the season. "Everyone will be watching."
With more of a solidified team looking to get their head coach of three his first bowl title.
