I'm playing MILWAUKEE on the run-line (+1.5 runs) The Braves got good news about Acuna's ankle, as the x-rays came back negative. However, this is not a favorable matchup for them. Smyly has a 6.12 ERA overall and in his last three starts, he's got a terrible 6.43 ERA and 1.929 WHIP. On the other hand, Houser has a 3.44 ERA overall and a 3.57 ERA and stingy 0.905 WHIP his last three starts. While the Brewers won two of those three, the Braves are just 1-4 with Smyly on the mound. Note that the lone win came by a single run and that three of Smyly's five starts overall were decided by a single run. Houser struck out 10 without walking a batter in his last start, a 6-2 win. His previous two starts were both decided by a single run, a 4-3 loss and a 5-4 win. Look for the Brewers to bounce back with AT LEAST a "run-line cover."
