|Over 218 (-110) @ williamhill|
The set-up: Denver will look to keep the foot on the gas here after its 115-103 win at Philadelphia just last night. Normally I steer clear of playing an "over" with a team that's playing the second game of a back-to-back, but because we're so close to the start of the season, fatigue simply isn't an issue at all at this point of the season for these pro athletes. Overall Denver is averaging 117 PPG, while conceding 117.
The pick: New York can't be "looked past" anymore, as the Knicks have won three of their last four. Overall the Knicks are averaging 102.7 PPG, while allowing 104.1. I'll point out though that Denver has seen the total go "over" the number in eight of its last 11 road games after scoring 115 or more points in a SU/ATS victory in its last outing. I think the Knicks easily eclipse their season average against this porous Denver defense. This number is indeed a little low.
This is a 10* TOTAL ELITE OF THE ELITE on the OVER Nuggets/Knicks.
