My 10* play is on the Washington Redskins (-3).
Redskins, lost veteran QB Ryan Fitzpatrick to the IR but seemed to get more life when fellow journeyman Taylor Heinicke entered the game. He completed 11 of 15 throws and ran for 17 yards, but couldn't keep up to the Chargers.
While New York swept the season series a year ago, their starter and franchise QB Daniel Jones, has a hard time keeping the ball in his hands. Jones has fumbled 30 times, losing 18 of them which is the most by any QB in the league since 2019. The Giants will be without Saquon Barkley who showed no spark last week after a year away from the game, and looks to sit out in game 2 of 2020. Also TE starter Evan Engram looks to sit out, leaving the Giants short handed at skill positions.
This doesn't bode well for for the Giants Offense as they will have Chase Young and MOntez Sweat coming off the edge, we expect the weak Giants line, which allowed two sacks and one forced fumble a week ago, to have their hands full keeping bodies out of their backfield.
While the Giants did sweep Wash last season, the Football Club was the team to take the division title and into the playoffs. With a division title to build on look for the trending upward Washington Football Club to cover the points.
