The Vegas Golden Knights took care of business against the Dallas Stars 5-3. They took the lead in the first minute of the game but surrendered it in the second period allowing two goals in 42 seconds. They were down 3-1 before heading into the third period but exploded for four goals in the third to win the game. Robin Lehner got the win in goal after stopping 24 of 27 shots faced in the winning effort.
The St. Louis Blues had a heartbreaking loss 2-1 to Colorado as the Avalanche scored the winning goal with just .1 second left on the clock in regulation. The Blues took the lead in the first period and held it until 6 minutes left in regulation. Jordan Binnington took the loss, falling after allowing two goals on 38 shots faced in the losing effort.
St. Louis didn't look great in their game and could have some lingering effects from how the game ended. Vegas got down by two goals but stormed back and put up four in the third. I look at Vegas playing better and will ride the momentum into another win.
