Matt Fargo: Fargo's 10* MLB Monday Sweet Spot (+$22,942 MLB Run)
Chicago has lost two straight games and four of its last five to fall to 8-8 on the season and it trails the Twins by two games in the American League Central. Detroit meanwhile has won three straight games to improve to 8-5 following two straight losses. The White Sox turn to Dallas Keuchel, who has looked very sharp so far this season, going 2-1 with a 2.55 ERA and 0.96 WHIP. The Tigers counter with Michael Fulmer who was shelled for four runs, including three home runs, in just 2.2 innings against the Royals. It was his first start since 2018 after he missed all of last season following Tommy John surgery.
Al McMordie: BIG AL's RED-HOT BASEBALL HIGH ROLLER (61-30 RUN)!
It's been an interesting journey for LHP Dallas Keuchel that has landed him back in the AL. The Astros did not resign the veteran after the 2018 season despite some solid numbers that year (12 wins and a 3.74 ERA). After that, everyone -- including probably Keuchel -- figured he would land a lucrative deal somewhere. But it wasn't until the 2019 season was more than two months old that he finally landed a one-year deal with Atlanta. The Braves also cut him loose and now he's back in the AL on a three-year deal with Chicago. He's already paid dividends although Keuchel had a bad beat in his last start, allowing just one run on five hits in seven IP against the Brewers but coming up on the short end of a 1-0 loss. Still, he's off to a red-hot start (2-1 with a 2.55 ERA and 0.96 WHIP) and facing the Tigers tonight should help keep it going.
Forum Legends: AL Central Matchup - Gm. 1
The White Sox have one of the best lineups in baseball and they should be able to get to a struggling Tigers pitcher in Michael Fulmer. The right-hander has only made one appearance and was clobbered, serving up four runs on three homers to the Royals. He is expected to be on a limited pitch count, meaning Chicago will have plenty of cracks at a mediocre Tigers’ bullpen. Detroit is 10-45 in their last 55 games against a team with a winning record & 9-19 in their last 28 games against a left-handed starter.
White Sox’ starter Dallas Keuchel is pitching with confidence right now. The lefty has held his opposition to two or fewer runs in all three starts this season. Chicago is 11-5 in their last 15 games against the Tigers. 6-0 in their last 6 road games.
Brad Feinberg: Monday's AL Central Play Of The Day
Dallas Keuchel seems rejuvenated this year. Really like what i see out of him. We have an excellent white sox lineup vs a struggling Michael Fullmer coming off Tommy John surgery. In most cases, that is a 2 year injury and my hunch is it will take awhile for the market to catch up on how much Fullmer is going to struggle. I made this line closer to -180, so laying 151 offers up some value.
Best of luck!
