Justin Thomas +1,600 to win | +350 top 5 | +200 top 10
Thomas finished T10 last week at the Charles Schwab Challenge as he did most everything right except getting off the tee. Because Harbour Town is so short, getting off the tee is not as big since driver is not in play as much. He finished fourth in SG: Approach last week and is fifth in that category on the season. Leads the PGA Tour with six top tens
Justin Rose +3,000 to win | +600 top 5 | +300 top 10
Rose started great last week with an opening 63 but fell back after an uneventful back nine Saturday and front nine Sunday to push him to a T3 finish. It was a very encouraging result as his best finish over his four starts prior to the break was a T56 at The Genesis Invitational. Finished seventh in SG: Short Game last week as well as fourth in SG: Total.
Webb Simpson +3,000 to win | +600 top 5 | +350 top 10
Simpson was a disappointment last week as he could not overcome an opening round 73 and missed the cut. We can chalk that up to rust and he now heads to a course he has tore up with no missed cuts in nine starts at Harbour Town that consists of six top 20s including a playoff loss. He struggles off the tee but he is ranked T10 in SG: Approach to make up for it.
Sungjae Im +3,500 to win | +800 top 5 | +400 top 10
For Im, a short bermuda course is a perfect setup for him. He plays every tour stop so it was encouraging that he finished T10 last week after a three-month hiatus. He was just 55th in SG: Approach last week but was T30 or better in all other SG categories. He is 30th overall in SG: Approach which is important on small greens that Harbour Town brings.
Viktor Hovland +7,000 to win | +1200 top 5 | +600 top 10
Of the big three of the new wave (Collin Morikawa and Mathew Wolff being the other two), Hovland arguably has the most upside. He won his first tournament in February and is coming off a T23 last week at the Schwab where he finished T16 SG: Tee to Green. He is very accurate off the tee which makes his seventh ranking in SG: Off the Tee very appealing at this price.
