PICK: pinnacle @ Under 11 (-115)
DATE: September 13, 2017 - 8:05 PM
STAR RATING: 8.0
EXPERT: Brandon Shively
EVALUATION: Win (800) - Final Total 9
Two pitchers who have been pitching extremely well as of late will go at it here on Wednesday, giving this under some value.
Martin Perez will get the ball for the home side and he enters play on Wednesday having thrown a quality start in 3 of his last 4 outings. In the lone outing he didn't the defense failed him as they costed him 3 runs, pushing him out of the game after 5.2 innings. Perez will take on a Mariners team that sits in the bottom tier when it comes to OPS, as Seattle sits at .744.
Seattle will send Mike Leake to the mound and his veteran presence is really starting to come around as of late. Leake has worked 7.0 innings in 2 of his last 3 starts, with his other one seeing him go 6.0 solid frames. Leake has been able to really find his groove with his secondary pitches, a huge key for him that should enable him to keep hitters off balanced here on Wednesday.
With this total so high, both starting pitchers should be able to limit the damage enough here.
