Reason For Pick:
New Orleans snapped their 3-game losing streak with an impressive 41-0 win over Tampa Bay. The Saints offense bounced back in a big way after they scored just a total of 61 points in their previous three games. New Orleans will carry over a lot of momentum for this game and once their offense gets on roll, they are almost impossible to stop. The Saints are averaging 28 points and right around 400 yards of total offense per game, and they will be facing a struggling Dallas defense. The Cowboys have allowed 28.5 points per game over their last four games while giving up 388 yards or more of total offense in three of those four games. The Cowboys allow an ugly 7.2 yards per pass attempt which is not good when facing Drew Brees and the Saints offense.
Dallas has won five of their last six games thanks to their offense waking up. The Cowboys have scored 23 points or more in four of those five games including 31 points or more in three of the five games. The Cowboys should continue their scoring ways in this game as they’ll be facing a New Orleans defense that is off a shocking shutout. The Saints have the worst defense in the NFL as they allow 27 points and 434 yards of offense per game. They allow a whopping 7.7 yards per pass attempt and 6.5 yards per play. Dallas’ strength is throwing the football as they average 7.1 yards per pass attempt. We expect both teams to throw the ball a lot in this game which will lead to a high-scoring game with a ton of points scored.
9* Play OVER the total.
