By: Al McMordie / Jan 17, 2017

On Monday, the final regular season meeting between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors was anti-climactic.  The Warriors trounced LeBron James & Co., 126-91, to move their record to 34-6 this season.  Toward the end of this week, there will be two other marquee match-ups:  Rockets/Warriors and Cavaliers/Spurs.  Let's take a look at other goings-on around the league.

NBA Betting Roadmap, Week 12

By: Al McMordie / Jan 10, 2017

The Warriors are 172-30 in the last 3 seasons, and are outscoring foes this year by 11.8 ppg, more than 3 points better than the #2 team (Spurs).  Yet many believe the Warriors are vulnerable, primarily due to their 0-5 record this season vs. certain of the NBA's elite teams (Cavs, Rockets, Spurs, Grizz).  I believe a team's overall record carries more weight than a smaller subset, so I'm not a Warriors doubter, but their struggles are still perplexing.  Let's take a look at the NBA week ahead.

NBA Betting Roadmap, Week 11

By: Al McMordie / Jan 3, 2017

We're nearing the halfway point of the season, and our list of title contenders has been narrowed to 6 teams.  In the West, just 4 teams sport a margin of victory of 5+ points (Warriors, Rockets, Spurs, Clips), while out East, only the Cavaliers and Raptors can boast an elite mark.  Still, the Warriors' +12.71 margin is the best by a mile, so perhaps Houston's high-variance strategy of shooting a lot of 3-point goals is the one best suited to engineer an upset.  Let's take a look at this week.
